Today we’d like to introduce you to Nicole Iris Lopez.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Back in 2014, I had a major shift in my life when my grandmother “Mama Chea” passed away. It was then when I learned that life is greater than how we live each day at a time. I became more in tune with my spirituality and connection with my grandmother through the spirit of her passing. I had a shift within me to start sewing which was super random for me because my grandmother was a big sewer. However, I continue to listen to the spirit became very creative, then I started sewing and designing different artworks on pillows.

My passion grew that I wanted to continue my business outside of social media. It was something people needed to experience and see for themselves to feel the energy. That’s when I found out about the Yellow Green Farmers Market where hundreds of vendors commit every weekend to show up for their passion. September 2016 I opened a booth at Yellow Green Farmers Market and named it Satori Art Decor. I went from sewing and creating these amazing pillows to connecting more and more with different people who also can relate to my story as well as inspire and support those in seek…

Now, 2019 we are still located at the Yellow Green Farmers Market. Satori Art Decor went from selling customize unique pillows to spiritual cleansing, a place where the community comes together to unite and feed off good positive ashe energy, provide many daily tools to support their spiritual path, life journey, and everyday challenges. A place to seek tools for “Moments”..

Nicole Iris Lopez took a step further and followed her passion as well to become a Yoga Instructor RYT 200, Director of Natural Solution Essential oil Wellness Advocate, Podcaster called “Satori Show” on 9 different platform (Spotify, Apple Podcast, Google Play and many more), studied Kabbalistic Planes, Private Yoga Instructor. If I didn’t connect spiritually with my grandmother and accepted detachment, I would not have been here. The beautiful part about life is enlightening even when we see no light. The meaning of Satori in Buddhism is – Enlightenment.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It’s definitely been a journey in all aspect from physical, mental and spiritual. A lot of self-seeking and self-healing in order for me to move forward when I felt like giving up. I found myself stepping into a lot of fear and discomfort which I actually know that is where the truth grow in life is.

My mantra is if I’m facing fear or I am in a very uncomfortable situation is because I’m on the verge of something major in my path to evolve. I skipped taking public speaking and college because I feared it so much when I found myself naturally doing public speaking without noticing I was facing my fear so naturally.

My most impact yet so humbling experience teaching yoga was when I taught at a Local Homeless shelter as I can relate do to the fact as a child once my family and I stayed in a homeless shelter. Amazing how life turns around where I was once them and I then found myself on a path of teaching yoga to them where I once was as a child.

Through my life experiences Is where I find confidence and peace in connecting with others from speaking my truth and staying humble. I was born and raised in New York, I moved to Miami in 1999 I love New York however New York is a concrete jungle where dreams are made of. The roughness of the city is the fire that pushes me through the road on this journey.

Please tell us about Satori Art Decor.
I am a spiritual being having a human experience, I play a role as a business owner to Satori Art Decor. I play a role of I Essential Oil Solutions Wellness Advocate educating Natural Solutions.

I play a role hosting a Podcast influencing thousands of people worldwide who tune in for inspiration and guidance. I create spiritual bath and soaps, I teach Yoga to the community and Private Clients customized to there needs of seeking stillness peace.

I am mostly proud of how authentic my business has evolved and how much I’ve learned so much of myself through this journey

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
My future plans is to continue evolving where life is happening for me on my journey from teaching and educating on a healthier lifestyle such healthier foods, spirituality, mental wellness, teaching children how to meditate and do yoga, educate about spirituality and how everyone has a spirit within them.

Everything is energy and continuing to educate and teach yoga and meditation. Everyone will have access to their inner energy and the beauty of self-awareness.

We were lucky to catch up with Nicole Lopez recently and have shared our conversation below.

Nicole, appreciate you joining us today. We’d love to hear the backstory behind a risk you’ve taken – whether big or small, walk us through what it was like and how it ultimately turned out.

 

At the age of 17, after high school I wanted to be independent. I moved out of my moms house. It was one of my biggest fear, being alone and the unknown of taking on adult responsibilities. It was than that I understood concept of taking risk. I truly believe that taking risk is the most important part of one’s life. At the age of 33 When I became a mother , I decided to take the biggest leap and risk of my life profession at the time. I went from full-time for 12 years corporate career and with a part-time small business. To becoming a full-time business entrepreneur. I had a great run in my career and success.

Shortly, my life changed and after the pandemic hit, my job had let me go.

Becoming a mother and becoming an independent entrepreneur was extremely challenging but at the same time the most liberating feeling I’ve ever experienced. For many years, I wanted to leave the Corporate world but I had no idea how I would take the risk. Although, I had some great memories and bad however, it had taught me a lot and even things. I needed to change about myself. Since I have left the corporate; I have published two books, became co -owner of Rainbow Root Teas( specialty in healthy food & beverage company), focus on my yoga teachings, became a rebrand private trainer, Featured on a music video with one of the largest music writers/ artist in the music industry and most importantly became a mother to a beautiful boy.

If I would’ve not have taken the risk and detached from corporate America I would never be able to experience life the way I have for the past two years. For the first time ever, I am finally following my heart and completely taking risk with every step I take in life. There’s two outputs in taking risk you either try or try again.

I am a firm believer that ones heart will always be the navigator to life purpose. The ego self will create endless stories of doubt and fear. The mind can be the worst risk blocker! The minute we always our heart to take risk, surrender & trust, we allow life to flow so abundantly and peacefully. It will always start with trusting your heart and then take the risk!

Nicole, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

 

I am currently co owner of Rainbow Root Teas. My passion has always been health, food, beverages and wellness. Especially mental health, as I have & family have battled with many different of health challenges. My dive comes from taking care of our bodies and mind.

The beautiful part about going through these different experiences and growing passion is that I have become so relatable to everyone I meet. I feel many of the stories I encounter, I somehow can relate. We are all connected. I love connecting with the community and through my experiences and sharing my stories. Any opportunity to shed light, I am willing to open conversations.

Co- Creating this Rainbow Root Teas, business model structure and rebuilding Rainbow Root Teas. We create vegan products as I am also a chef and creating different types of recipe’s. Also, becoming a mother has taught me a bigger value to life and to slow down on things to take life for exactly what I make it by taking risk and be completely OK with expressing myself at my own full capacity unapologetically. There’s a difference in life when people say they want to do something but they do not do and the people that just take the risk without knowing what would happen and by doing that.

Consistency is the key to developing anything and taking risk. I am mostly proud about how we’ve took this brand and re-create it. We care and love Rainbow Root Teas, as we have built such a large community from everywhere in the United States will continue supporting and loving the brand not only for the high-quality products we provide; but for the authentic trustworthy, clean and uniqueness of what we create. When creating or manifesting anything especially in building a brand something very important has to happen which is great energy and qi. After, having my baby I really understood the concept that motherhood is so important and self-care is so important.

I understand how women can lose themselves and fall into a dark space. If they do not have the right support system and tools. We also added to our collection in supporting motherhood journey “the same products that I created on my motherhood journey”.

One of my personal favorite and so sacred to me for healing my body and producing breast milk is our woman’s tea collections which was Inspired from my postpartum journey. I also had Covid while pregnant and gave birth in the Covid unit, which was extremely traumatic for me. I wrote a book which can be found online called “the pandemic birth” where I dive deeper into my experience and giving birth for the first time in the middle of a pandemic (in the COVID unit).

My priority was taking care of my health not only for myself before but also keeping my baby safe & healthy. I used a lot of Rainbow Root Tea’s collections, during this season in my life. This journey lead me to really expanding Rainbow Root Teas. People needed to experience the herbs and products that I experienced, I was determine to build a strong brand for people to understand why Rainbow Root Teas. & Trust in Mother’s Nature.

Can you tell us the story behind how you met your business partner?

I met my business Partner at the Yellow Green farmers market In Hollywood,Fl, where I had my spiritual booth and he created Rainbow Root Teas. Victor is my long life partner also we both work great together. We decide to partner in 2021 with rebranding the business. It’s been such a great experience.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.

Taking my independence and liberating myself to becoming a Latina entrepreneur has resilience my story. Along with self publishing my first book & sharing light to hard challenges motherhood is often silence about. I commit to silence the loudness in my mind and doubt from people. People around you can created hesitation and fear. I’d come to realize that in life, my vision is too big for people to understand it when risk is involved. This is my life, my duty to understand I am the GPS to my life. It is not meant for everybody to understand my dreams & risks. It comes to a point in life that Oversharing can cause doubt and fear in any risk taking. Staying within the focus on the finish line and trusting in my Intuition life continue to grow. This is my journey! This is my experience & This is my life!
